Abstract: The layout modules are the “hands and eyes” of the computer. I designed them fine-grained to ensure flexibility and low cost.

Common

Connectivity and Intelligence

To ensure maximum interoperability across the layout, my modules share a common technical DNA. Each module utilizes the RTB bus interface (supporting FDX, HDX, or EDG protocols) and features a serial debug interface for deep-level monitoring. Designed for modern ease-of-use, the system supports hot-plugging and automatic device discovery, allowing for a true “plug-and-play” experience. Furthermore, system maintenance is simplified through a robust “firmware-over-the-bus” update mechanism, eliminating the need for manual hardware access.
