C23
Specs
Accessory controller for light signals.
Features,
- EDG interface (TTL /w signal reshaping)
- 1 output port on the PCB
- Drives 16 independent LEDs
- Terminal connectors
- Software adjustable common LED voltage (2..5V)
- 5mA current per LED output (reduced current)
- PWM for soft LED on/off
- Gamma correction
- firmware update over the bus
Note: Unlike the quadruple signal accessory C30 this module does not mandate external WS28xx LED driver.
Examples
The C23 can be used for geographically isolated signals on the layout. Block signals on the main tracks can serve as an example. Similarly, the C35 would be used for multiplex signals.

CLI interface
A C23 module represents one light signal with up to 16 LEDs integrated on the PCB. In the output below, the column on the far right shows the symbol (aka aspect) of the light signal. The column LED[V] tells us about the voltage supplied to the LEDs. The maximum brightness of each color (R=red, G=green, Y=yellow, W=white) can be adjusted to make all LEDs appear with an appropriate intensity (see also C30).
