Signal Accessory (MPX)

Abstract: Imbedded accessory controller for multiplex signals.

Control module for light signals with multiplex technology.

Specs

Accessory controller for integration into the signals. This circuit board is very small and is intended for use where there is very little space available. Otherwise, using the C35 would be recommended.

  • EDG interface (TTL /w signal reshaping)
    • 6 pin FFC cable connector
    • Connects to adapter module P18
  • 1 output port on the PCB
    • Drives 4 channel multiplex output (= 12 LEDs max)
    • solder pads
    • PCB for imbedding (PCB size 18 x 6mm)
    • Software adjustable LED voltage (1.8 – 3.3V)
    • PWM for soft LED on/off
    • Gamma correction
  • firmware update over the bus

Note 1: This module functionality is equivalent to the C35.
Note 2: This module connects to the P18 adapter via a FFC cable.
Note 3: This module hardware is identical to the E14 but running different software (ROM, Bootloader & Main).

Model railway imbedded signal accessory controller.

Example

The C37 connects to the EDG bus via the P18 adapter and shares common EDG bus functions such as firmware updates over the bus.

Installing the embedded accessory controller inside or near the signal mounting socket. The P18 adapter converts an FFC cable into a standard EDG bus cable connection.
